Tělocvična PZŠ Gustawa Przeczka

The project involves the expansion of the gymnasium at the Polish Gustaw Przeczek Primary School and the Jubilee Czech Masaryk Primary School, located in Třinec. 

Strategically positioned, the gymnasium overlooks the neighbouring Olše River and the railway line. A thoughtfully designed corridor seamlessly connects the existing structures with the new gymnasium, leading past the amenities, including changing rooms and the gymnasium itself. 

To ensure protection, an earth bund and an external façade made of steel sheeting safeguard the gymnasium’s wooden core, akin to steel armor. A distinctive feature is the horizontal skylight, nestled between the rampart and the roof, which bathes the playing area in natural light. Enhancing the aesthetic appeal, a blossoming garden gracefully encircles the gymnasium, providing a tranquil and visually pleasing environment.
