Golf arena Třinec
Project
2023
Location
Třinec
State
ČR
The investment aims to create a modern center for developing golf skills, specifically designed for use in poor weather conditions. Its primary focus is to train children and junior golfers, though it will also be accessible to the public.
The Golf Arena will transform and refurbish a former backup heating plant in the Třinec-Lyžbice district. This building, originating from the 1950s and currently in disrepair, will undergo extensive reconstruction. While retaining its industrial character, the building will be harmoniously integrated with its new purpose.
The first floor will feature a long game simulation area, equipped with five state-of-the-art Trackman simulators and driving range areas. This floor will also include an entrance area with a reception and bar.
The second floor will focus on short game simulations, including chipping and putting, within a 20 x 30-meter area, designed by the renowned golf course designers Olazabal Design. Additional spaces for a driving range and a special projected golf course PuttView will also be available.
The building’s main structural elements will be preserved, complemented by a modern and elegant entrance extension and a tower superstructure made of glass and corten steel. This combination will provide a contemporary and attractive appearance that respects and enhances the building’s historic nature.
